When buying a new washing machine, most people look at the following: washing quality, spin efficiency, and design and ease of use. These are all important considerations as you need something that will remove those coffee and wine stains and prolong the life of your fabrics and clothes; however, from a plumbing perspective, your washing machine must be fitted correctly.

That’s what our professional plumbers can help you with!

Here’s what we will do for you:

  Check water and waste hoses

  Connect hot and cold water hoses to machine

  Connect water hose to appropriate control valve

  Open valve to charge hose and test for leaks

  Connect waste hose to appropriate connection on fixture trap on sink waste and secure

  Turn on washing to short cycle and ensure water ingress and egress, which is important as water needs to flow in and out freely

  Check for leaks.

Your washing machine company may also require that a qualified and registered plumber fit it, and your warranty may be void if you don’t.

Inclusions: Level and commission clothes washing machine. Put a first load of washing on. We will give it a run to make sure your new machine is field-tested!
Exclusions: Hanging washing out to dry. Hanging the washout or ironing is not part of this service and neither is removing packaging from the site. You may also need appropriate washing machine control valves to be supplied and fitted if you don’t have them already. Moving the old machine around or outside the house. Rubbish removal.
