Connect new upright gas cooker

So you have purchased a new gas cooker or would like to have your current one replaced? Where do you start? Most people are unaware that plumbers are also gas fitters – our plumbers completed more schooling to get the qualification so we can connect your new gas cooker.

Here’s what’s included in this service:

  Disconnect and remove existing gas upright cooker (600mm) from gas connection

  Fit new customer-supplied cooker to existing position

  Connect gas from gas appliance valve to cooker including gas appliance regulator

  Carryout electronic gas leak test – we test gas leaks electronically as our electronic detectors are much more sensitive than the human nose at detecting gas leaks

  Test and demonstrate

  Certify installation.

We will not only install your new cooker to Australian Standard 5601, we will also certify our works and send a copy to you and also to a relevant gas regulator.

Get our professional gas fitters to install your gas cooker – you will sleep better!

Inclusions: Piping materials for joining cooker to gas valve. Prepare and complete and administer gas certification to gas authority, and forward a copy to you.
Exclusions: New gas appliance control valve. Appropriate gas appliance regulator. Removal of old appliance.
